We lost Maurice Sendak. I don't even know where to begin. So:
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I answer all my children’s letters, sometimes very hastily, but this one I lingered over. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, 'Dear Jim: I loved your card.' Then I got a letter back from his mother, and she said, 'Jim loved your card so much he ate it.' That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." ---Maurice Sendak
We lost Adam Yauch aka MCA. Again. Don't even know. Pour one out and listen:

In less sad news, and probably somewhat jubilant: My collaborative poetry collection, You Are Jaguar, written with David Tomaloff is now available for PRE-ORDER!
And: After a disappearance from Amazon, my novel, Code for Failure is back on the site. Before disappearing, the book had reached #139,000 in books. This is no small feat for a small press book, and I am stoked, though I can't help wondering what it could have reached had we not had issues. If you haven't bought the book yet, please consider checking it out!
Lastly, I have a SoundCloud account where I've been posting readings of poems, and excerpt from CfF, and some recordings of songs read as poems. CHECK IT OUT!
