Mucho Monday

The release of Code for Failure is imminent, and on Friday the book was the recipient of an incredibly wonderful review at HTMLGIANT. Many thanks to Chris Vola for his kind words: "Code for Failure, presents a searing portrait of life at the bottom rung of the fuel industry that performs the rare feat of being psychologically intricate, hilariously scatological, and emotionally memorable, often in the same paragraph. It’s a study of the rarest of dichotomies – darkly macho fiction with a heart that builds to unbearable, and maybe more." READ THE WHOLE DARN THING!

Also, today I begin failing the internet for a week. Ryan W. Bradley Fails the Internet: The Code for Failure Blog Tour begins. Kicking off at The Next Best Book Club! I'll be posting links daily to each new stop along the way so you can follow failure on its path! GO DAY 1!

And one more CfF item: The book also gets reviewed by Benoit Lelievre (who will also be hosting some other content this week). VERY AWESOME!

I also have a story online today, at the always awesome PANK, where I am sharing space with other fantastic writers including Jared Yates Sexton and Chad Redden, and a new fav, Kelli Anne Noftle, whose poetry collection I Was There for Your Somniloquy is a fantastic read, and who also happens to be an extremely talented singer/songwriter. On my way to AWP I got to sit next to her completely at random on the airplane. That was an awesome coincidence, as I'd just read her book a few days earlier.

Anyhow, the story is called, "WEST" and is from the Alaska collection. It's one of the most brutal stories I've written (which is probably saying something), so if you're feeling especially sensitive you might consider skipping this one. If not, you can also listen to an audio recording of me reading it. CHECK IT OUT!
