My contributor's copy of the new Third Wednesday arrived in the mail today. I'm very pleased to be in TW for the second time. This issue houses a poem titled, "Watching Lightning with My Love," which is pretty much about what it sounds like.

  1. Congratulations on your publishing credits! It's not easy to get going on that submission business... it feels so submissive. B.

  2. Bonnie! Thanks! It is a hard process, I especially have to remind myself not to get anxious about it. Mostly I try to turn the whole thing into a routine. Hopefully I'll start getting some more stories out there to counter the weight of the poetry.

  3. Yup, I'm with you, Ryan. I think of sending out work as a job in the same way as flossing the teeth. Pain in the ass, gotta do it. Are you using the free website Duotrope?

  4. I do use Duotrope, but only for my stories... it was too daunting to enter all my poetry... or I was too lazy. Maybe a combination of both. I'm looking forward to American Salvage arriving, by the way!
